How to use unix timestamp converter
- Choose whether you are converting a timestamp or a date.
- Specify seconds or milliseconds for timestamp input. Dates must include a timezone, or use YYYY-MM-DD for midnight UTC.
- Read the UTC date and both timestamp units from the result.
What to know about the result
- Epoch zero and negative timestamps are supported. Fractional seconds allow up to three decimal places.
- Timezone-free date-times and nonexistent calendar dates are rejected to prevent local-time ambiguity.
