How to use color contrast checker
- Enter the opaque text and background hex colors.
- Calculate contrast and review the normal-text and large-text threshold results.
What to know about the result
- Uses linearized sRGB relative luminance and WCAG ratios, with AA thresholds of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Large text means at least 18pt regular or 14pt bold. Results cover this color pair, not the accessibility of a whole page.
